HUMANITARIAN
MISSION

Lifesaving Mission

While Oxybreathe has clear commercial potential, it also carries a profound humanitarian mission. A non-profit arm of Oxybreathe would be dedicated to ensuring that cost is never a barrier to access.

Through partnerships with global health organizations, NGOs, and government relief agencies, we can distribute Oxybreathe at low or no cost to underserved populations in low-income countries and remote regions where access to hospital care is limited or non-existent.

This dual-track model—commercial scale on one side and philanthropic outreach on the other—creates both financial sustainability and social impact. Profits generated in high-growth markets can help subsidize donation programs, emergency stockpiles, and rapid deployment in times of crisis. By aligning with international health goals such as the World Health Organization’s mission to reduce respiratory disease burden, Oxybreathe can position itself not just as a market disruptor, but as a global public good.

For governments and global partners, this builds trust and strengthens long-term relationships. For investors, it enhances brand equity and ensures that Oxybreathe is recognized worldwide as both a profitable enterprise and a life-saving mission.

Pulmocare Research and Education (PURE) Foundation, Pune, India

The Pulmocare Research and Education (PURE) Foundation was established under the leadership of Dr. Sundeep Salvi as an independent charitable, not for profit organization to address the unmet needs of research and knowledge dissemination in the field of Obstructive Airways Diseases in India.

According to the latest Global Burden of Diseases Report, 2017, India has one of the highest burden of chronic respiratory diseases. India contributes to 15.69% of Global Chronic Respiratory Diseases but 30.28% of all global deaths due to Chronic Respiratory Disease occur in India. India has the highest number of COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) cases in the world, a whopping 55.23 million! The second-largest number of global deaths due to COPD, almost 0.85 million, occur in India. India also leads the world in deaths due to Asthma with 43% of global asthma deaths occurring in our country. Yet awareness in the healthcare community and the public remains low about these two chronic lung conditions which cause a huge health and economic burden on our health and health care system.
